so I would like to express my dislike with something I have recently come across today and other days, and its starting to piss me off. I would like to asked everyone here who visits Enspiras (whether or not you own a domain, hosted, or on a free webserver) This applies to everyone.
In your opinion what do you think being affiliated with a fellow website mean? One of the main reasons should be that you felt a connection behind your own designing techniques with the person you want to affiliate with right? You enjoyed browsing through their endless content that caught your eye in the first place right? I mean the said person should feel extremely overjoyed that someone recognized their skills. right?
Then why in hell would you place in your affiliate rules that the said applicant MUST have 100+ unique hits per day? I understand that affiliating with something also provides hits from there site, but that's not what affiliating is about! Come on people. Its ridiculous. Am I right or a I just ranting and raving? I feel pissed because affiliation shouldn't be about numbers, hits, unique clicks.... I know lots of talent designers who have their own domains and sometimes on a bad day never get over 100 hits, BUT their stuff is beautiful.
So that's the end of my rant and I would like to hear anyone's opinion about this topic, because frankly I'm getting sick and tired of seeing this happen. Cheers!

So Neogrotesque is having an awesome 'Inspirational' contest! that I think everyone should (well if they would like to ) participate. This is an excellent opportunity to really sharpen your designing skills. This contest will make you think about how you would like to communication your vision into a design. Think outside the box! Even table layouts can create some of the most eye pleasing structures. Rules prizes and everything else is located at her site, so please don't let this chance go to waste! I have one piece of advice for all you amazing designers out there: Don't forget about your focal point! Design on!

ooooo! haha hi! Made an update woot! a design up! woot! so I finally got to see what this layout looks like in Internet Explorer and its not that bad... the date is like smack in the middle of the page because I guess IE has a hard time with floats, and the border around the spotlights are not showing.. but eh... isnt everyone using Firefox? haha so Im not going to fix it.. if they want to see and browse the site they can use Firefox ( Which I love!!!!) haha anyway Update are below.
